Halifax’s Sustainable Homes Centre Launch - Viva Training Academy

We are thrilled to announce that Viva Training will be playing host to a Daikin Sustainable Homes Centre, providing an important ‘heat pump hub’ for installers, consumers, housing associations and developers in Halifax.

The Viva Training Sustainable Homes Centre will launch on 3rd March, and we are planning an exciting event. The centre will be officially open by the Mayor of Halifax, with guests including the Department for Building Education & Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

Tailored presentations will be delivered by Daikin experts for installers, housing associations and developers, explaining the benefits and opportunities presented by the heat pump sector.

There will also be giveaways – Wera Tools and Kane 358 Analyser Kits – as well as a chance to win a Daikin Air Purifier. Visitors who buy a heat pump within three months of attending the event will receive a discount.

 

Join us for the launch!

The launch is open to anyone with an interest in heat pumps; from installers looking for advice on training, to housing associations and developers wanting to find out about the benefits of choosing this technology. The Sustainable Homes Centre will also provide a useful point of contact and education for consumers wishing to purchase a heat pump for their property.

The event will kick off at 11am, guests will be able to look round the centre, meet experts from Daikin and Viva, view the latest Daikin heat pump technology and attend the workshops. Complimentary snacks and drinks will be provided.

Presentations:

    • 1.00-1.30pm – Installers: find out about training, business opportunities, sales and support.
    • 1.45-2.15pm – Housing Associations: learn about the funding opportunities and advice around tenant engagement.
    • 2.30-3.00pm – Developers/architects: understand the benefits of SAP, design services and potential market.
