Rob you but cant train you or facilitate you in challenging circumstances. Appalling teaching styles and methods. Dont really care and expect you to know it without making effort to explain or teach it ! Rather join others where atleast u are looked after.

Booked in for a course, turned up on the day and was told it was cancelled due to sickness. No problem, sickness happens, no big deal.Since then I've tried to call to rebook and no one calls me back. I've emailed to rebook, no one emails back. I've called to get a refund, no one is available to sort it and no one calls me back. Called to speak to a manager and none are available and guess what... No one calls me back.So it's now a month further on, they've robbed the full course fee off me, waste hours of my time on hold with no one and I've still not been on the course!Don't trust these thieves

What an absolute con..... would you trust someone to work in your property after a 6 month course that was based in a classroom and requires some photos of you pretending to do some work on site??What they don't tell you is that when you come out.... no one will employ you. Because no one is that stupid. Without any experience you won't get a job!!!!!!So you can work for yourself????? Enjoy the legal battles when you it all goes wrong because you flooded some poor old lady's house out because they taught you how to connect a cooker. But not drain a system down properly.There is a reason it takes 4 years the traditional way...... on site with experienced engineers. These courses do nothing but teach you how to pass a test. When in reality it's hands on experience that you need.When I did an apprenticeship it was 1 day a week at college and 4 days on site...... it was the 4 days where you really learnt and practiced your craft.Just read real reviews online of people that have done this training. Or from BPEC, the awarding body for apprenticeships. Or from anyone that isn't affiliated with these centres.Unsuspecting victims come out with a certificate that cost a fortune and no job what so ever. Just try and get a gas job online........ they will all give a minimum term of experience required....... These centres should be ashamed of themselves.They are diluting the industry with cowboys that don't have a clue. Its already bad enough and gas safe is there to protect customers.Anyone that goes on these courses and thinks and think they can walk out with a fancy new certificate and earn £50k a year are delusional.

Best course I have attended Unlike others which are showroom based don’t touch this or you left mark there.This was actually hands on course Different makes and models were in workshop both live and dead boilers also lots of sensor switches pumps,G valves etc. Pete was excellent made sure everyone understood what were they doing and what outcome or readings they were looking from each test carried out.pete put faults on live Boilers when we were away for break to simulate real world scenarios which was really good.Excellent would really recommend it.

Passed my ACS with Viva, great trainers put me at ease in a relaxed training atmosphere. Roy & Pete are down to earth, helpful and know there stuff. Lindsay was helpful with the paperwork/ portfolio side of the course, which also helped as paperwork isn't my forte.The company they use for placement are also good, made a few new friends and enjoyed the experience with Basi. Would recommend and I will be going back.

Just recently completed a fault finding course with the ever knowledgeable Roy Fugler.I honestly cannot rate this training centre and Roy highly enough!I completed my ACS training with them over two years ago and they were my number one choice when I decided to expand my knowledge around the inner workings of a boiler and how to diagnose the issues that often arise.I will have to re-sit my ACS again in a few years and there’s only one place I’ll be going. It’s VIVA all the way!

Domestic Heating Energy Efficiency Course Details

The qualification enables engineers to ‘self certificate’ their work to meet the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Documents L1A and L1B, which relate to the conservation of fuel and power in new and existing dwellings, respectively.

What you will learn on the energy efficiency course?

This Level 3 qualification enables learners to understand and competently design heating systems that meet current energy efficiency standards.

It covers best practice in designing gas-fired and oil-fired heating systems and is a necessary bolt-on qualification for those looking to up-skill into renewables, such as Air Source Heat Pumps, as well as being relevant to all heating engineer qualifications, including gas and LPG.
