Benefits of the New Entrants Course
The benefits of this course to your career as well as potential income prospects are massive. Our Gas Course is an accredited Managed Learning programme or MLP and has been designed to offer hands-on training focused around building your skills and knowledge, not just teaching you how to sit an exam. Our course is a great alternative to an apprenticeship, you will gain the same skills, confidence, knowledge and qualifications at the end, however our course can be completed in 6 months, whereas a traditional apprenticeship for an engineer can take years.
This means:
- You could be earning in as little at 6 months.
- You don’t need to stop working to complete your course
- Designed for people with skills in other fields who want to retrain.
- There are no hidden costs. The one price you pay includes everything from books, portfolio help, placement hours, and exam fees.
- There are no minimum entry qualifications to start the course.
Requirements & Qualifications
The great thing about our Gas Engineer Course is that, unlike an apprenticeship, there are no minimum qualification expectations. While no formal Maths and English qualification is required, trainees must be able to read and write as well as have an understanding of basic mathematics. We will perform an informal check before you begin your training to ensure we are happy you can undertake the course, and that’s it!
This programme is perfect for people fresh out of the armed forces or have owned their own business and never required the minimum GCSEs so many jobs ask for.
The qualifications you will receive after completing our course is your Pathway to Gas certificate, which enables you to sit your ACS Exams upon passing the ACS assessment, you will receive your ACS Certificate, which is all you need to join the gas register.
