Candidates undertake their training in VIVA’s custom built Boiler Fault Finding Studio, a practical training bay fully equipped with a range of boilers from various manufacturers.

Trainees will be able to familiarise themselves with a range of fault-finding methods and equipment, including the use of a multimeter. The techniques learned can be transferred to any boiler brand you may come across.

Boiler Fault Finding Requirements & Qualifications:

Our Boiler Fault Finding course is an unaccredited course which we have developed based on our training team’s expert knowledge. Ours, as well as other Gas Courses, cover basic faults in boilers, but this course is designed to fill in the gaps and expand your knowledge in a hands-on setting to prepare you for whatever you may come across in a customer’s home.

To undertake this course you must currently be Gas Safe Registered and have a minimum of 6 months experience in the field. This course is great for counting towards your Continued Professional Development (CPD)

At the end you will have confidence in diagnosing and identifying faults on a range of boiler types and brands.

Boiler Fault Finding Location

This Course is based in our Halifax Training centre located close to the M62 with great access from all over the country.

Our purpose built centre offers state of the art classrooms and workshops where you can put into practice the principles you will learn about, getting in-centre experience working on actual boilers and appliances. The entire Boiler Fault Finding Course takes place in the Boiler Suite, purpose built with a range of brands and styles of boiler units for you to work on.
