Welcome to VIVA – industry-leading training for the building services sector

Our training centre in Halifax opened at the beginning of 2017 and we’ve built up a wide range of qualifications to help you succeed. We offer courses in Gas, LPG, and F-Gas, with more building services qualifications planned for the future.

VIVA Training’s founder, Richard Firth, has years of experience behind him. He runs his own heating and insulation business with a team of engineers installing over a thousand boilers a year. All Viva’s trainers are the same – real engineers with real experience to pass on.

Working in the building services sector offers great career prospects. There are so many routes you can take. It’s an exciting industry that’s contributing to environmental targets by improving the sustainability of our buildings.

F-Gas is a really exciting area to explore and we’re Worcester Bosch approved to deliver this training. Commercially, the refrigeration sector has been cleaning up its act, and these changes – the F-Gas Regulations – mean there’s a lot to learn. Domestically, heat pumps present a practical solution for those who want to find a cleaner, greener way to heat their homes.
